Check out SCA member Gretchen Parker

My next Open Studio will be Friday, November 2 from 10 AM to 1 PM. We focus on colored pencil but other mediums are welcome. Bring a project you are working on. If you are a newbie to CP I will help get you started by teaching you the basics. If you are using Photoshop Elements and need a bit of help with it I can help with that as well. This is always a mixed group but we also always learn a lot from each other.

Space is limited so you need to let me know if you plan to come. Please drop me an email at: g1retchen@gmail.com

Charge: $20

Also please mark your calender. The next CPSA SC District 124 Chapter meeting will be here in Lexington Saturday November 10 at 12:30 at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 1430 N. Lake Dr.,Lexington. I will do a short presentation on rendering water combining watercolor and colored pencil. We also hope to show the DVD of the CPSA International show held in Covington KY this summer.

This is a wonderful opportunity to get to meet CP artists from around the state and hear of the plans for this brand new chapter. To join the group you must be a member of the Colored Pencil Society of America cpsa.org. Dues for our local chapter http://www.cpsa124.org/ are $15.00 You can send your dues to the treasurer: Jim Sibley 882 Sand Binder Dr., Myrtle Beach SC 29579. Make your check out to CPSA district 124.

I hope to see you on November 2!

Gretchen Evans Parker, CPSA
